Coins 4 Clothes is a Toronto based charity that helps provide clothing to seven local clothing banks while spreading #BCH into the hands of everyday folks.
People donate gently used clothes and get paid in BCH. So far we have helped 18 people open up Bitcoin Cash wallets and have donated close to 1,000 articles of clothing. We are looking to heavily increase those numbers this coming Thursday...
Innovative Bitcoin Cash Meet-up comes to Toronto
This Thursday July 12th, I will be co-hosting an innovative Bitcoin Cash meet up in Toronto where:
- People can bring gently used clothes and get paid in BCH on the spot
- People can then use the BCH they earn to buy drinks, food, Bitcoin swag and tip their servers at Betty's on King, the first Toronto Brick and Morter to accept BCH (starting July 12th!)
- All clothing donations will go to our partner charities (we have some of them coming by for the event!)
- We will have someone capturing all of this on video and creating a 30 second recap of the event.
Thus, your BCH donation can have the following impact all in one night:
- Help introduce someone to Bitcoin Cash
- Provide clothing for the needy
- Be used on food or drink purchases at Toronto's first BCH accepting venue
- Be used to tip servers with BCH
- Be captured for all eternity on video as a demonstration of how easy it is to use BCH.
