We set out making an improved LocalBitcoins.com, before BCH forked, believing people wanted peer-to-peer exchange of more coins with better safety. It turns out people were focused on things like ICOs (often scams), parking money in custodial exchanges, experiencing hack after hack, and sticking to LocalBictoins.com even with new ID requirements!
It makes little sense, but it may be early adopters have moved on, after fantastic gains. Now there is another wave of users, less knowledgeable about safely navigating legal, identity and security issues for cryptocurrency. Accordingly we've largely pivoted and need your help. We're on a mission to provide heightened awareness and availability of private crypto trading. Our model is now flat, all peer-to-peer, creating an income opportunity for those interested.
Introducing PeerTraders.cash
- No Wallets - we can't be hacked because we never receive funds; all trades are 2-of-3 multisignature, peer-to-peer using the Bitcoin.com Shared Wallet
- Peer Arbitrators - separating ourselves from money creates an opportunity for users: anyone can earn 50% of site trading fees as an arbitrator
- Bitcoin Cash Focused - the only coin held in escrow is Bitcoin Cash, which can be used to secure trading of other coins
- No ID pressure - from a legal standpoint we're nothing more than a message board; we'll maintain user privacy or shut down, because we'll never be pressured to track users
