I see here daily anti-BSV threads and, frankly, I completely understand. After all, I was among the ones calling out prof. plagius bullshit and alcoholic behavior, and found good that he has no influence via a cult anymore and can develop his ideas freely in another chain. One less Joe DaLies is a collective IQ increase.
But, at the same time, I find this anti-BSV very irrational and unproductive, BSV has zero to do with the abysmal loss in value in BCH, nor the dev conflicts. I find that many people, including Jihan Wu, told the community to do exactly the same as coreons did when they told people to dump BCH.
Every person receive a BSV coin in the fork, again, just like BTC and BCH coins in the fork during august 2017. If any wins, merely holding coins will amount to the same end-result.
Jihan Wu didn't do anything concrete to flip BTC, and told everybody to dump BSV like the plague. I consider this social media manipulation akin to the manipulation coreons did in respect to BCH. At the end of the day, how many BCH does bitmain have? Still the same 1 MM? Why display some huge bag and then dump it? Lemme guess ... lee's effect.
Time to call bullshit on every fucking thing. Exactly like with BCH, where coreons don't have reasons to hate it unless they dumped bags in a tribalistic irrational ritual, telling people to dump BSV is a tribalistic ritual. It does a net ZERO for BCH. Yes, I don't believe in technobabble unfulfilled BSV crap, not more than I did yesterday, but both situations are equal and I find salient hypocrisy to say "hmmm his bags. he is free to sell". Yes he is, insomuch he doesn't fucking show bags and don't fucking tell people to dump their own wealth.
In sum, BSV is there, underdog, selling or not won't make a difference for BCH. Protecting from their attacks with checkpoints is perfectly valid strategic decision, but shit talking them daily does nothing at all for BCH. The focus just shifted from BTC to some crap full of patent trolling.
BSV is still better than the shitcoins mentioned in OP: BSV has prof. plagius, but also have ABC code, doesn't have segwit, doesn't have RBF, doesn't have tiny spurious blocks. It is bad with patents and "craig plz fund my half-assed website" sycophants, but a far lesser evil.
Forget fucking BSV, this is all a distraction. No amount of tweets about all of their over hyper void projects will make an attack less likely, a value improve, or BCH take over the crypto market.
