Hey guys the IFP debate is heating up again before the fork. By the looks of it, the ABC team has deployed a somewhat aboveboard PR campaign to revitalize ABC's tarnished image after the IFP debacle. This PR campaign led by George Donnelly was well-intentioned, but also showed some fear from the ABC team that they may actually be FIRED by the BCH Node team. Miners have signalled their clear intent to not support IFP, but the ABC team has steadfastly refused to remove the code, which could arguably called "block reward stealing malware". Of course, it also appears that there is a virulent strain of single-issue pro-IFP trolls rampaging around this sub. From their post history it appears that they simply attack anyone against IFP and try to marginalize them or disparage their character.
I've had some nasty run-ins with /u/kptnkook and /u/LoopNester and determined that they're fairly knowledgeable on the IFP subject. Also LoopNester is engaged in some fairly sophisticated concern trolling on the IFP opposition.
This is not a good look for the ABC team if they're involved with these trolls. But maybe since George Donnelly seems to have given up the IFP shilling, this is a last-ditch effort? All I know is it smells like the filthy old Blockstream backstabbing tactics of yesteryear!
