So I need a few hard drives for my new file server. Figured I'd try using BCH to buy them on Amazon. Tried the gift card route but every place I tried either has markups and/or requires KYC. I'm not spending even 1% over when I can just use my Amazon card and save 5% if I buy that way. It's just dumb. Back in 2017 bitcoin.com was selling $50 gift cards for $50 of BCH. Of course they ran out after I bought the second one and I haven't seen them on there since. Purse is a no go. The whole point is to not let people know where I live. I don't care about the taxes but I would rather not have someone breaking down my door thinking I'm rich because I bought something with crypto. Too many shady people out there. Too many scams, too many selling IDs, etc.
