Hello people, I could use some advice. Recently while messing around with a certain online webservice, I got access to someone else's crypto wallet with ~$140k of crypto in the wallet with no 2FA. I felt really bad for the dude and wanted to make sure no-one else could access the account so I changed the password and tried to send him an email with the changed password to the address the account was registered with. The only problem is, the email bounced and the address couldn't be found. What should I do here? Should I just change the password back and leave it to chance that the guy gets into his wallet before someone else? I honestly don't know what to do. Alternatively, if one of you guys happens to now not have access to your Bit Trading profile, dm me and if it is your account, I'll happily give you the new password. Proof: Also, please for the love of god people, put 2FA on your financial accounts AND NEVER TAKE SCREEN SHOTS OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNT DETAILS! [link] [comments] |
